Re: MP3 player

There are a few options:

- on the internet you can find home built sets, with which you can modify the ICS so that you can connect a portable harddisk of a USB. I then also accepts other file formats. Some even have video. For these you have to have some electrical experience.

- Buy an iPod connection unit. There is also some information to build one yourself.

- Use a FM radio frequency transmitter to get the audio signal inside the ICS. For example my Nokia phone can store music, an transmit it through FM frequency to the ICS radio.

- Buy a loudlink unit. This then comes in place of the CD changer which is in de back of your car. See www.loudlink.eu for further info.

Re: MP3 player

What do you use outside the car to play MP3?

Some of us achieve reasonable audio quality with a FM transmitter that you plug in the cigarette lighter.

FM MP3 player

Not good enough for people with high standards, but still acceptable and cheap.

Re: MP3 player

Well gone to Halfords todayand they showed me a much cheaper option,an Fm transmitter with usb/Ipod connection,Bought it for £20
Cant say sound is fantastic but okay,Very strange thing was:
He asked me what car i owned ,said Alfa...He said he has an alfa too,Ask what model ...Said 166 ..He said his is 166 emoticon and the same year as mine only a silver v6 engine....That was very strange.
Then we talked for a bit about how nice are Alfas emoticon

Re: MP3 player

Hi Paco,I can guess there was no need telling him about here,Every alfa owners knows about here emoticon

Next thing i am going to look for is a boot spoiler, not the one alfa does for 166 but the bigger ones, the sort made for 156-159's

Just hoping if i attach one it wont increase my fuel consumption
